Easy Installation using 3M VHB adhesive and attachment screw, locate the base bracket on the mailbox, mark the location with a pencil, lightly sand the area with the included sand paper, wipe the marked area clean with the included alcohol swab, let dry, remove the protective film, place the bracket in the marked area and hold for 10 seconds, install the drill-tip screw thru the bracket into the mailbox. When the mailbox door is opened, the spring and ball pop up allowing you to see when mail has been placed in the mailbox. To reset, place the spring back into the bracket cutout. No batteries needed. Weather Resistant heavy duty plastic for the base and ball and stainless steel screw and spring stand up to any weather condition (snow, wind, rain, sun) MAILBOX NOT INCLUDED.
